About Us
Hello! We’re Emmalyn Kayser and Cody Fitzpatrick, the owners of Foxtail Farm. We’re really excited to offer nutrient dense, human powered, organic produce to the communities of the St. Croix River Valley and Twin Cities Metro. Whether you’ve been one of our CSA members, have seen us at farmers markets, or are a newcomer to Foxtail, thanks for checking us out!
CSA
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. CSA members purchase a subscription of our farm’s produce. The farmer benefits by having an established income while members enjoy a wide variety of nutrient rich produce. In addition, by joining a CSA members are supporting small scale, local, sustainable farming. In our case, members support a local year-round food system!

Certified Real Organic
Foxtail Farm is not only certified organic through MOSA but qualifies as a member of the Real Organic Project.
“Certified Organic” is a useful term for food grown by farms as small as 3 acres or larger than 300. While food labeling can be useful, it can also be misleading. The label “Organic” has been manipulated to lack vital standards meant to protect soil health and animal welfare.
Through the efforts of the Real Organic Project, farmers (like us) hope to distinguish soil-grown and pasture-raised products that go above and beyond USDA organic standards.
